Default My own payment processor with ebay, No more paypal!!!

Hi All,
I have a stealth ebay account and I just recently added my own payment processor so I DO NOT have to use paypal!!! My ebay account is 5 years old and I can sell more than 200 items a month. I am also offering a small discount to my customers for the inconvenience of having to enter their CC info at ebay checkout. What reviews, limits, or other issues do I need to be aware of from ebay? All helpful advice and suggestions welcomed.

Is the payment processor approved by eB? Or are you telling customers to pay outside of eB? ....

I only sell 30-50 items per month, but now since I have my own payment processor, I am looking to expand to sell closer to my max per month for items. I sell stuff that ebay randomly chooses to ban for some people and allow for other people. All my items are 100% legit. There is just so many horror story about ebay and amazon's arbitrary business practices/policies, banning people.

Have your sales been the same now that you no longer are using paypal ?

I'm wondering if sales will decrease because buyers want to use paypal or does it not matter

And your issue is going to be more with eBay and not so much the payment processor , if your trying to list items that eBay doesn't favor than your just going to be waiting for a restriction, and they don't catch everyone right away all the time so u may se many selling but eventually they catch up

everyone wants to pay with paypal but I offer a small discount for using their credit card instead and they are fine with that, so I do not see any decline in sales. As for eventually catching everyone, is not a true statement because I have been tracking many different sellers in my same category for years and they do not get caught or banned. I can even tell that their product is not 100% legit like mine, but they all have 98-99% pos. feedback which might have something to do with it. I have 100%. I am not sure how they get away with it so that leads me to believe that the process of who gets the axe is arbitrary.

Why not use paypal ? With your discount and cc transaction fee you most likely are paying more this way

It seems a good idea on the face value but what does it cost you to have your own merchant, as I have my own website and process payments outside paypal but there is always a transaction charge. Apart from this I dont think its a major problem. Good luck.

the fees of the actual payment processor is less than paypal, but I offer a small discount for the inconvenience of having to enter their CC# at ebay checkout which makes it more than paypal fees, but I do not have to worry about my trustworthy payment processor banning me, putting my account on hold/limiting, asking for more info and all the other horrible, unlawful arbirary business practices that ebay and paypal conduct under their "policy banner"

Operate with that in mind as well.

Again, read the forum to discover what options are around.

The more it gets put out what payment processor works, the quicker it stops.
