It will depend on how much you sell and how much £££ you sell.

I would advise against this on e new account.

I have a personal account that I started to sell on just over 3 months ago. Account has 25 feedback. Selling limits are 270 / £12000.

Just like any limit you need to sell close to it.

So if you want high ££ increase you have to sell to the £ amount and if you want higher item increase you have to sell to your item limits.

There's really no issue to shed light on.

All items sold were 99p on a Buy It Now.

I have accounts that I started on to sell on back in Oct 13, with 50 feedback are still stuck on 25 / £750 after 6 months.

It very much is the luck of the draw.

I've seen a lot of accounts that have been sold on since Jan 2014 get limit increases.

All accounts that I started to sell on around Sep 13 to December 13 have seen nothing at all.

Accounts created before that have seen huge limit increases (one personal account has 600 / £17500).

The accounts that have seen no limit increases have just been "bypassed" by the system that dishes out these auto-increases. I am fairly sure at some point soon they will be picked up on and given limit increases as well.

So it doesnt matter on the price of goods being sold , as long as your maxing your item limits as increases are random

can you highlight if you get your major increase after the 90 days period isit more common for the huge increases 5 -6 month period .

any experiences !
cheers

Ebay is random anything can happen. Keep posting items out on time, good customer service and it wont take too much time. I reckon you can achieve it 3 to 4 months.
month 1 = 10 listings
month 2 = 25 listings
month 3 = 40 listings
month 4 =150 listings
After month 3 if you perfom well you will most likely have that allowance

The information I have given is from my own experience and this are automatic and i didnt even have to ring or do anything special to increase the allowance. Good products, on time dispatch and good customer service. That is it.

There is no real standard policy to deal with - few people have posted good experiences but really depends on your level of operation

As you have said that is your experience but it certainly is not the same across the board.

Many people have seen no increase at all after 3 months. Some have seen higher increases.

Increases are pretty random. I have had 3 month old accounts getting increases to over 1000 items and 12 month old accounts stuck on 80 items per month.

Best way to get increases is to make as many accounts as you can manage, that way you increase your chance on getting a decent limit on one of them.

What's the highest limit anyone here has ever gotten by the automated system?

My 'main' TRS eBay account is at 3k/$50k and I've been hitting the item limits for the past two months, still haven't been boosted.

I'm worried that they're not going to give me any more automated limit boosts and I'll have to call in. I know in this situation people would recommend to spread sells/use more accounts but it's a store and I have a lot of return customers I'd like to offer more items.
