Default Offering to make higher quantity auctions for customer in listing - Help Please

I've seen it a few times before in other listings. But I'm not sure if ebay would take down my auction for it and I don't want to risk any warnings.

In other auctions I've seen sellers say "if you are looking to buy more than one please contact me and ill make a listing for you". Is that ok to do or does ebay look down on that? Could I ask buyers to contact me if they want to purchase a higher quantity? Or would asking to contact me outside of ebay set off any red flags?

Any info is appreciated!

I don't think it is a good idea to list 20 quality in a single auction. It depends what you're selling, but in my opinion, it draws unnecessary attention to your account. I prefer listing 1 by 1 and have it set to re-list automatically with Auctiva.
