I'm really liking Amazon, and starting to think I put more energy into the wrong platform with eBay

Now I just have my real account right now that's a couple years old, so I'm sure one reason I never had a review could because it's all my real info, and I really have gradually built up sales

But the items I sell on Amazon ID never be able to sell on eBay , at least the same quantity without having some issue

The only thing is that I'm nervous from hearing that they can delete your account and your money, I just switched to a pro merchant so It changed my whole payment schedule to one week instead of 3 weeks, so even the sales I'm making this week are going into this Fridays disbursement and that number keeps going up and getting me more nervous

But after this week it will just be sales from every week and not from the last 3 so I won't be as nervous

Dmshark25 - I'm also doing very well with Amazon after being with eBay for years and year and never ever looking at Amazon, it's also my genuine details.

It does worry me that I'll get kicked off for no reason, but then I always think people don't give the full story and don't admit their mistakes so readily, so I take it with a pinch of salt that they were kicked off for "no reason".

I have to wait 2 weeks for disbursement in the UK, then another 4 days for the money to reach my account.

I know I am bringing back a year old thread I really like it!

Does anyone have preferences on the type of items they sell on eBay vs. Amazon?

For me eBay seems to be better for unique items where I can take lots of pictures and really showcase them. Amazon seems to be better for certain products that can be explained by a stock photo.

Just curious about everyone experiences with the general type of products, fees, insights, suggestions, etc.

You can make a lot more money on Amazon depending on what you're selling but a bad idea for knockoffs. eBay tends to be more lenient and easier to handle when it comes to running stealth accounts.

There are more tricks you can do with Amazon, the lowest price does not always sell ;)

I put up two items on amazon. One item is on the very last page, and the other doesn't even show up in search results.

If someone can tell me how to get your products shown high in the results, that would be great.

price and feedback are key for new accounts. EVEN ONE FEEDBACK makes a huge difference.

I see, but I put up a product that is the cheaper than anyone else's listing but I can't even find it.

Amazon is much more difficult to stay stealth on. Which the Amazon stealth book goes more detail. Amazon destroys accounts very quickly. The one great thing about Amazon is no work shipping products. I send them my products and they handle the shipping. I count the money. Amazon is really annoying though. You better answer all the emails quickly. If you ship you better ship on time with tracking. They pretty much expect you to be as good if not better than them with customer service and shipping.

If there's a product catalog for the item, I sell it on Amazon.

I get more money for any item I sell on Amazon vs. eBay, period, hands down.

Note that this assumes you have a least a few 5 star feedback (100% positive)
