inkfrog open and its multiple stealth + messaging features.
 

As we all know inkfrog is useful for managing multiple ids.

However, they have recently released inkfrog open, which provides the ability to manage all of your messages from one place.

My only worry is that although it appears you create and generate tokens to add your ebay id like the old inkfrog, that because it appears to now be an ebay app that linking would occur.

Any thoughts and previous experience is greatly appreciated.

If it doesn't link (i have not tried more than one account in case it does link) then this is a pretty big innovation for stealth users as inkfrog open is free to all users at the moment and the messaging feature included in inkfrog open is pretty darn good

To be safe I think the best way using ink frog open is trough the URL website and not trough the built in app in ebay .
Just be cheerfully guys when you adding accounts in to it and make sure each accounts requesting token from a different ip and his own user account...
After that you should be fine since all the communication and syncing will handled trough there server and they are not sharing ip , and if yes it will be 1 ip for all ink frog members so it will not be an issue .

I signed up to inkfrog yesterday, very nice tool. Now from this thread it seems they have inkfrog open, are they the only two or are there more? and what is the difference between the two, as the only difference I see is the added messaging tool.

As for using the app, I cant quite get the gist of whether your saying the inkfrog app is built into the ebay app (which should be avoided completely for stealth reasons) or if there is a separate app (in which case all requests will be handed through inkfrog servers and you should not worry about having problems with your stealth accounts), it would work similar to you replying to ebay messages via an email app on your phone, request will be handled by the email app and ebay wont see your ip - if they tried really hard they could, but their not for some odd reason.

Inkfrog sends out email reminders to buyers using username@inkfrog.com.

Based on what I have seen, when that email is sent to buyers, the only thing that links it to eBay are the other items sold by the same seller.

When a buyer hits reply, that email is only sent to inkfrog.

Why would you even need to link separate Inkfrog Open accounts? It's free and you can run multiple stealth accounts from different windows user accounts using multiple Inkfrog Open accounts, correct?

To all curious about inkfrog and inkfrog open yes they are two different things.

Inkfrog open can be accessed through eBay directly OR through their url (which of course i would advocate to anyone).

Inkfrog standard unfortunately does not have a messaging feature (so i a pain for eBay messaging)

HOWEVER

Inkfrog open is a complete seperate and new program that has inbuilt eBay messaging facilities so is perfect for stealth users.

It is also free.

My only worry was the linking when sending lots of different messages from different ids within inkfrog open?

You can but what would the point of using inkfrog open in that way?

Would it not be better to put all ebay user id under one inkfrog open and go from there.

Time is money.

Only question in this thread is really regarding whether it links :)

@copley1, GoteBay has already confirmed his account dont suspend after using multiple stealth id's under one inkfrog account.

@toml3030, I think I understand your query but you have misread the previous posts and gone off on a tangent. OP is not attempting to link inkfrog accounts, he is seeking to find out if using multiple ebay id's under one inkfrog account + using their embedded messaging system would compromise his stealth accounts.

@OP - If its too much of a concern, you can download an email application, put all email in one combined app, and reply... just make sure "images/attachments" are disabled as they carry becons which can obtain your IP.

@Play - What email application is it please? I have become a member of open inkfrog, however as you the 14th I'm not getting any new emails come through. That's 2 whole days.

Please everyone using open.inkfrog be careful.

I just signed up for inkfrog.com and had a "meeting" with one of their specialist. During the meeting I had asked her whats the deal with this open.inkfrog and whats the difference to you?

Well....she told me its a sister company run by two completely different companies. It has completely different developers. The only reason I mention this is because the name itself is deceiving. It looks like its simply a updated version of inkfrog.com but its not.

I would be careful as its not been tested in the long term that the messaging service doesn't supply a link.

Were talking about linking ALL accounts if something were to happen. Too me thats simply not a risk worth taking.

Their messaging service works through ebay messages so there shouldn't be any linking done on accounts, I personally haven't had any issues with multiple accounts.

One more thing, their customer service is top notch, I emailed them asking for a feature...adding more information in their order page, item name, buyer id etc and less than 5 hours later the feature is there...so you're welcome guys lol

There service is top notch! Thats good to know about the message system. Its just so new I feel very hesitant to use it.

BTW how long have you been using this feature?

Yeah I get you, I haven't been using it for long, 3 weeks or so. And until one of the accounts go down and the others not it's not 100% confirmation that there is no link, but I haven't seen any application that uses ebay tokens link account because they all seem to come from the same application account. They all interact with ebay through those tokens of permission so nothing else is passed back and forth. As for other types of links, pictures hosting, templates etc it's a matter of looking at how the process works and if there is any way of linking, and I haven't seen any.

Ok. 3 weeks kinda puts it into perspective. Thats still VERY early to make any finite statements on if it works or doesn't.

So if i'm reading this correctly, inkfrog allows me to respond to all the customer messages through that?

For example, if i had 10 accounts and 5 accounts had customers who sent questions about an order, product etc, they would all be in one portal and i could respond to them all right there in that portal?
