Do They ask you to verify with SSN in Canada?

I know in the U.s you can be asked to verify with your SSN. Do they ask for anything like this in Canada?

I have just set up my first 3 stealth accounts and I see it asked on paypal as optional. Would they ask for this later?

No, because Canadian citizens don't have SSN.

They can however ask for your SIN number if your account gets limited in Canada.

Canada have SIN. PTL, they have no SSN

Not had reports they ever ask.

But they can for business info and dig into taxes as well if you do cross-border trading.

Yes they do ask for SIN.

They can ask for government issued ID (driver's licence, passport) - they can TRY to ask for SIN but it's not a mandatory requirement...you aren't NOT obligated to give a SIN

Don't give misleading information stanislav.

Paypal Canada DO NOT mandate you to enter your SIN. Unlike US laws, Canadian laws does not allow a company to ask you for your SIN unless they're issuing you with credit products. Even so, you have the right to deny the request.

Please prove your claim.
I use many different Canadian accounts of various age and statuses and nowhere does any of the accounts requires a SIN under any circumstances. Like I said before, it's illegal for Paypal to forcibly collect your SIN if they're not issuing you with credit products.
