VPN for Ebay Stealth Account works?
 

Hello Everybody,

Reading Ebay Stealth I have noted that VPN ok for Ebay, but need to make sure it works fine still. ( Search does not give any threads about it on forum)

From Amazon experience I know it leads to account deletion.
What is the situation with Ebay?

eB can easily detect VPN use - you should not be using free / popular ones. VPS is better but if you are in UK, can you look into dongle use or mobile phone tethering?

NO NO NO to vpn.. try VPS. and get a static IP.

I've been using a VPN for about 4 months with 1 stealth account and I have had no issues as of yet.

My package is an open vpn with a static IP

Open VPN...you're asking for trouble. No issues as of yet does NOT mean no issues ever... /sigh

Try VPN if you have prestige provider with private VPN. If not, try VPS

Open VPN is not good idea, you will have trouble with your account a day, because with the same ip, many people maybe used and reuse many time before, or this is IP is in blacklist. Try VPS:doh:

Been using VPN since 2008 when Stealth Guide came out. No problems with the service I use. However, I have heard that some VPN services have been abused and can be problematic with stealth accounts.

123 is one of the oldest account sellers. If it wasn't a good service, then he would not be offering it. IMO

I know, but he is selling a VPN, and I see quite a bit of talk around here and other places of VPS>VPN. I just wanted to try and get other opinions on it (the vps people)

I think his service is great..a fresh ip is what is needed for what were doing and his service delivers that,

I have a static IP with 24vc, it works great for pp & eb...very happy with it and for every day use hipemyass to get different countries ip...both are vpn.

VPS (Virtual Private Servers) and VPN (Virtual Private Network) have similar names, they are extremely different things altogether. A Virtual Private Server is a place to host your website, where you have root level access to the server while still sharing the hardware. However, a Virtual Private Network is a way to browse the Internet securely and anonymously. cheers

The thinking that a VPN does not work for ebay is old school and outdated. I've been using VPNs for every single one of my accounts including the accounts I sell and the accounts I use for personal usage for many years now. (and lets just say that is a TON of accounts)

The problem is not using a VPN its using a bad VPN provider, same goes for VPS, VPS sucks if you pick a bad VPS provider. Simple as that.
