for the credit card option, you can do a chargeback for fees paid if your account goes down or pay a tiny amount of your fees and extend your billing cycle.

Its a matter of what route you want to take with your accounts

Let me make sure I got this straight...
You pay your ebay seller fees with a new and different credit card (a gift card ) every single month, and that is not one bit suspicious to ebay?
But somehow paying your ebay fees with the paypal account you have linked to your ebay account is somehow risky and might raise flags and could get you suspended?? One would assume that paying their fees with their paypal account would be the most normal, safe, and expected method, considering almost everyone uses paypal on ebay.

Makes no sense at all to me...

You can pay your fees to eBay any way you would like to, what ever makes sense to you.

DO NOT pay your eBay fees with your Paypal account.

That is not one bit suspicious to ebay is the answer. ebay gets their fees by due date each & every month with the gift card so it is like instant money in their bank. Think for one moment the problems anyone can/has with a paypal account. Think of a greedy ebay waiting eagerly for their fees that arrive in the neat package with a gift card. Goodie-goodie says ebay. They do not need to look out to collect their fees, can you see this? Make a giftcard payment & fees are under control. Easy-peasy.

GreenBean is 300% right. eBay don't care what method you use to pay them, as long as they are going to the bank every month then there happy.....Send em' a cheque, money order, use different credit cards, or even sign up for direct debit with PayPal...

They don't care - at the end of the day, with the financial crisis, they don't won't to lose one cent so any payment method is fine. Trust me...

Transactions with paypal is high risk. Paying ebay fees without paypal eliminates a risk. There's a formula being used involving incoming and outgoing funds on a paypal account and I'd rather withdraw moneys than pay fees with paypal funds. Paypal has to think like a loan officer... they are dealing with strangers and assessing risk. Don't pay fees with paypal.... it's like taking out a business loan and mailing the bank the lottery tickets you purchased with it.

I'm making some other assumptions, but I'm not talking.

Do NOT continue to pay your eBay fees with your paypal account.

Sammi, never ever do I associate paypal & fees. Too much of a risk. I allow paypal only access to what I want. Never let them touch my bank accounts.

Simon cards work for paying ebay fees, i always pay them with a simon card.

Absolutely agree with first post but this is only for USA or maybe UK not international people.

I currently have 11 seller accounts.
10 are just over a year old.
1 is over 2 years old.
I also have over 15 buyer accounts that are over a year old just waiting to become seller accounts.

WOW!! This thread... Just... WOW!... Damn where do I start? Ummm...

OK, So I use a prepaid card for eBay and Paypal. This card also has a virtual bank account. When you first get the card you get a temp, and the permanent comes in the mail. Now. 1. I used the temp card on eBay, and it's set up on automatic pay for fees. 2. I used the virtual bank for paypal. Then when the permanent card came in the mail I used it to lift my paypal limit. Now, if I use the perma card on eBay for fees, will that link my PP info to eBay? It's the same account but the numbers have changed.

When it comes to fees on eBay, I am always late! I got tired of it and linked my paypal on my last account, so it can draft automatically. (HOLY SH*T!! I just thought of something! For those who are doubting "Here We Go Again" about paying fees with paypal--read what I said in my very first topic here!)

You right but you see, for others there is no option to place bank account on paypal. You scenario is only who place bank account on paypal. Other countries can place only cc. no bank account.

this is a method to pay ebay fees BY NOT USING PAYPAL. The idea is to pay fees safely and therefore have no need to use paypal.
