On a new account with a measley, 5 sales...i have just had neg feedback for a brand new with tags 99p vest by high street store river island.
Feedback says im.selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ river island clothing. WTF
I guess there is nothing i can do right? Buyer didnt even.contact me. Just left the said feedback. My feedback score is terrible now.
Mercifully its a new account with no limits so if it goew down the pan, its not the end of the world :-)

No, unfortunately not. But the pic shows the brand new tags hanging from garment. A very clear pic i took of them :-)

So you have all the proof you need that it was new halo, bet your glad now you took such a clear pic and got those tags in! You could message ebay that the feedback is unfair and unrealistic and point them to your pic, see if they will remove feedback

I really want but is it worth drawing attention to my account for 99p.

Your feedback wont be removed unless the comments are against ebay rules.

Talk to the seller and see if they will change the feedback, if so send a feedback revision form to the person. I do that time to time

The thing about neg feedback is even if the buyer agrees to revise it it still counts as a defect on your dashboard sadly.

If they didn't contact you at all, they will remove the feedback.

Frustrating because she states im selling river island ⊗⊗⊗⊗.
Ive heard of ralph lauren ⊗⊗⊗⊗, lacoste ⊗⊗⊗⊗ but never river island ⊗⊗⊗⊗ lol

Gonna just leave it. Its my newest account, no limit increases. Only good thing is that the 21 day holds have gone.
If it collapses coz of this, then will make another :-)

I doubt that will do anything. The buyer didnt even.open a case.for a refund. She just went straight in.with neg feedback.
Will just take it on the chin as it goes and move on.

Always amazes me there are idiots out there who think you can get replica river island etc I often get people messaging me asking if an item is real on one particular listing. There is no way someone would ⊗⊗⊗⊗ that brand. People are idiots.

You will be able to get it removed if she's said your selling Phakes.

Its a new account with no limits so not the end of the world...but this has seriously damaged my feeback score massively.

I would ask them to revise it by appealing to their better nature.

If that failed I would ask ebay to remove it.

But, Im not one of those who thinks neg feedback is the end of the world. Depends on the account and how you feel about developing it.

@OP, send a friendly e-mail asking to revise it - if they can't or don't reply...just write response and leave it.

Increase sales of cheap, free shipping items for fast feedback to increase positives and drive that comment into another page. It is possible to recover well from this -1

That sucks......I got a neg on a new account with less than 20 feedbacks about 18 months ago and that is the ONLY stealth account of mine, ever, than hasn't had a single limit raise in it's lifetime. It has 75 feedbacks now, without ever another problem, other than the one I speak about..............stuck at 10/1K..........maybe forever?? lol

I call late at night to eBay when they are about to close. Best thing to do for me. Everyone is hurry to leave there shift. Someone getting paid a crappy 8$ an hour or less is not going to give 2 hoots about eBay especially Feedback issues. There only mission at this point is to get home or party. eBay do not pay there employees overtime for staying late. Did he leave any threatening emails or message or anything you can use against him in eBay court?

I guess thats why im not too panicked as its my newest one. Only just started getting instant payments because holds have stopped. No limit increases either.
So do you think that it was the neg feedback at the beginning of yours that was the reason behind no limit increase?
Just.so annoying that my feedback has gone plummetting down in one fell swoop over a brand new top from a.high street store for 99p.
Even more annoying that feedback was left without contacting me. I would have happily refunded given the overall sale was such low value.
But you have given me hope that its not the end. Providing i dont come across anymore problems, i could be ok.

That has happen to me many times send the buyer a message that favors them. Some people leave bad feedback without opening a case or sending a message that does not mean you have to let it go, they usually agree and revise the negative feedback.

When they leave negative feedback, they have to tick the box confirming they have contacted the seller. If they haven't contacted you, live chat remove in 5 minutes.

I've had over 5 feedbacks removed this year from people who don't contact.

The exact same thing happened to me. I sold a new item, they then left feedback saying it was used - spoke to ebay - won't do anything because its "buyers opinion"....its also concerning that the chat option & phone option has been removed by ebay customer support for feedback related enquiries.
