I am not raising it a lot just want a couple under my belt to start. I plan to sell books after that. Until I reach a double digit number. The ultimate goal that the items I am selling are non VERO items from authorized distributor. So going to take it slow.

Buyers feedback HAS ZERO VALUE of any kind.

Alright. I will start selling at this point. No need to waste more money on stupid stuff. So I got the group vote its alright to sell. Cool.

For us newbies that are soaking up all the AWESOME information--but a sticky up that says top 10 items TO sell and top 10 items NOT to sell in the first XXXXX amt of days. IN RED, LOL

There are countless threads on items to sell when starting off a new account , it's not good to keep posting the same information

Also the problem with posting the top 10 items to sell and Not to sell are going to vary day by day.

I disagree, buyers will go to your competitors with more feedbacks than you because they think they are more trustworthy than you and that converts to sales.

Ok....

Rhetorical questions for you.
If a seller with 500 feedback is very green, what is a seller with 10 feedback look like?
The people that actually look at feedback as a buyer, do you think they care that you were able to click "buy now" and "pay now" as a buyer?

Buyers feedback effects your ability to sell how? How does it increase your selling limits rapidly?
How does it increase your DRS scores?
How does it put money in your pocket? How does it increase your visibility? How does it help raise your trust with ebay and paypal? How does it help get your holds off?
All it does is take money out of your pocket and wastes your time. It does not in any way translate into $$$$$

Are you looking to make money or goof around? Do you want to run a business or sell a few things on ebay?

I am in business to make money and turn the largest amount of inventory I desire to handle in the least amount of time.
Buying junk for a valueless feedback cripples that ability.

Re: Boosting accounts

Yep, and as a buyer looking to make a purchase from you, if they click your feedback it automatically displays only your seller feedback at first, so you could have 100 feedback and when they look at the reviews they will see not one if you haven't sold an item

Once they are in that page they would need to click all feedback or buyer feedback, but they are automatically directed to feedback as a seller

So a buyer concerned with feedback will want to see the comments and of they see u have only buying feedback and a lot of it , it may actually work against you.

I find feedback doesn't make much of a difference, I keep a good product and competitive price and with most eBay buyers they will go with the fastest shopping that is free and the cheapest price

I think that only a small amount of buyers are so clever to check what kind of feedbacks does a seller have. Most of people just see a nice big feedback score, a 100% or near rating, and buy. It's the sellers who are paranoid about everything, buyers are not, as they have their blessed buyer protection feature out there.
