Boosting accounts

So have been boosting stealths. What are good items to buy in which you don't really have to ship? Got around 100$ bucks to spend for each account. Love to get peoples opinion. I refuse to buy from Hong Kong and China. Thanks

Running out of ideas so fast.

Used books are a good way to start a sellers account, if that is what your asking?

OP... I really do not get what you are asking here...

Re: Boosting accounts

Sounds like OP wants virtual items where you dont have to ship it to the stealth address so you get easy feedback.

Feedback is not worth much to be honest. Not worth the effort at all. Waste of time IMO.

Re: Boosting accounts

Anything o a virtual nature could be problematic.
Instead why not go to your local dollar store and find some bargains there that will fetch a fair price on ebay? that way youre even breaking even on your investment and showing plenty of activity on your accounts which could serve to increase your limits as well.

Re: Boosting accounts

buying digital items, in my experience, is the quickest way to kill stealth accounts.

Re: Boosting accounts

if you are talking about buying cheap stuff on ebay to boost your feedback stay away from digital prints and recipes. I used to buy those items and after a few weeks the accounts that sold them were closed and some of the feedbacks were taken away and then a few weeks later my accounts were closed.

I don't understand why people are always looking for shortcuts when it comes to Feedback. If Aspkin updates the ebook, he really needs to put a disclaimer in there that tells people NOT to do such silly, dumb things.

Every day, there's at least 10-15 people asking the exact same thing.....Maybe the Mods can make a Sticky on this exact topic.

Re: Boosting accounts

Ive had to update my account instruction list to point out this importance up from 1 to 3 times... in bold lettering. It may be an old habit for some, but the idea needs to be killed for good.

I second the sticky notion!

Re: Boosting accounts

Sell things because they are profitable and for no other reason at all. Why waste time and resources on something that does not hardly, if at all, makes you more money.

I have an example of two accounts I am working with right now. I will copy and paste the "specs" and feedback scores for speculation on the value of feedback.

This account is 10-11 days old and received 2 feedback today and started with a 10-$1000 limit. Up until today it had a 0 feedback score. Tomorrow I will list the last 15 items with $0.99 auctions that will end a bit over $100.00 each. These items are in sporting goods and are not risky to ebays/paypals eyes.

You have sold 10 $1,179.84
You have listed (active) 5 $614.00
You can list 15 $206.16
Out of 30 Out of $2,000.00

This account is 21 days old and has 8 feedback. Initial limits were 10-$1000 This account has sold the riskiest items I have ever sold(name brand household goods) and that is why I did not sell over my limits. I did not want to push it on untested items/category for me.

You have sold 39 $3,432.44
You have listed (active) 1 $100.00
You can list 0 $2,467.56
Out of 40 Out of $6,000.00

All my small accounts are like this. Feedback means nothing to me.

Re: Boosting accounts

I totally agree with yankee on selling stuff for a profit or else you are just wasting your time and energy. But if you could build up solid established ebay/paypal accounts with no 21 holds and everything verified, you could also sell them for a profit or for personal use. That's just an idea for you to consider...

We don't need such spoonfeeding :) Anyone with some knowledge of eB knows that feedback is among the easiest to get in a safe manner.

Re: Boosting accounts

I usually get some feedback before I sell. It something that include in MO. I agree you can sell right away. I am not selling items yet on my account. I have found a way to do that. Although I need items to buy items to raise my feedback. What are good items to buy that don't need delivery.

Why don't you want delivery?

Re: Boosting accounts

I am not in the states right now. I can't change the stealth address. I found auctions where you can post a different address in message. But it tends to be chinese sellers. I've been buying items around 5-20$ mark. I have 100$ to burn for each account. So I am buying items that I can use. So it doesnt end up a waste.

eBay doesn't likes items that do not need delivery (apart from those that you can collect "in person").
The "no-delivery" items are digital items which are very risky for buyers too.
What you are up to do is called feedback manipulation and your account could be in trouble.

Re: Boosting accounts

after I get to my ideal feedback. I will sell used books at that point. I am just taking it one step at a time.

@ilcarletto

Thanks for the info I will keep that mind. I guess it looks like I got to buy from the Chinese and HK sellers. o man

Seriously, why do we even bother...lol. It's like telling a child not to touch the hot stove and the kid insist on doing so, guess we need to let people get burned.

@MM78

I am not raising it a lot just want a couple under my belt to start. I plan to sell books after that. Until I reach a double digit number. The ultimate goal that the items I am selling are non VERO items from authorized distributor. So going to take it slow.

Re: Boosting accounts

just build feedback selling your own product...

We undersand that... the fact is that the way you start is very wrong but... it is your account and your money. Go on! :thumb:
