Selling 250+ Monthly W/ Perfect Feedback

Ever since I got TRS I wondered this.

Does anyone here average roughly 250+ sales monthly AND still have 100% feedback? I know alot depends on what you sell but still its pretty impressive. I see sellers who have it and I wonder how?

I do know for whatever reason some accounts get more feedback then others...

Pretty interested in everyones responses.

I think you can achieve that by selling new quality items that you know won't **** on the customers within a week or so.

My experience with used refurbished products is iffy. B/c customers either don't read the description fully or just plain picky.

My gem account sell close to 200 per month, more during the holiday and it have 1 negative feedback. I guess I'm lucky since I sell in high risk category for this account.

All my stealths are at 100% positive feedback. But the most they sell is 100 items per month, and thats not every month. Sometimes they need time to cool off. I have a couple accounts that do sell around 200 a month, but again, thats not every month due to needing a cool off period.

I think if you are selling quality items and you are willing to kiss customers' asses then doing 250 items a month every month with 100% positive feedback can easily be done.

Exactly Bjammin! Kiss ass and keep kissing ass! It works for me sometimes I let them keep the product when it is cheap or when shipping costs too much for return and I'm using a stealth address now etc, just not worth the headache. I kind of hate how ebay and Amazon act like big brother all the time but essentially they want us to be the customers little pawn then that's what i'm going to do to keep my account and stay in business.

Many variables. Some products are more prone to returns and griping than others. Anything is possible. Do you best to avoid such issues. I agree though buyers can very lazy reading even short descriptions. I can't tell you how many "dumb" questions I get when the important info is often clearly stated in big bold red letters as mentioned before. Most of my descriptions are like a 200 words and broken out easily so buyers can skim and find what they are looking for. Very rough I agree.

If your items are not complete garbage, and you talk with your customers really polite, and handle returns/refunds/replacements very fast and easy, there will never be negative feedbacks. As it is possible to remove a bad feedback if you can prove to EB that you did your best to resolve the issue.

There's also a lot of Luck involved, of course you need a good product, customer service etc..., but with some accounts everything goes smooth and others just do not, and I'm comparing accounts that I'll sell exact same items

Most my accounts are all positive feedbacks, I just have one with a negative, but even with the all positives you will have defects

I have one account that's 90 days old 400 sales perfect feedback and so far 0 Defects, and that comes from work yes but a lot of luck

Re: Selling 250+ Monthly W/ Perfect Feedback

Last year I sold 200-300 items every month with 100% track record. It lasted about 5-7 months and then as I started rushing with descriptions it dropped a bit. Just got too hooked on making money and my service suffered.
In my category, I don't think it's THAT difficult to get 100% track record with 200-500 sales each month. The items I sold were different prices as well, some were £5 items but mostly they ranged somewhere between £50 to about £120.
Every single item that I sell is different and I hardly ever sell similar item twice a month- Maybe every other month something comes up again, but even then it's rare.

It just takes time, patience and solid product that you can't really fault.
When it comes to selling numbers and customer happiness, then I think it's very much down to what product are you selling.
For example, if you decide to sell some random product, that's cheap and made of out plastic and just generally is tacky and feels cheap, then I can gurantee you that you will have certain % of customers who buy it and EXPECT something special but when it arrives they are disappointed and will most likely not rate you as highly as you'd like. It's down the peoples expectation, that's all.
The items that I sell are very simple in that sense- You can't really buy it with false expectations, u know.
It's almost like selling a light bulb- It's a light bulb, it does what it says on the tin. You can't go wrong with it and you can't have false expectations because it's a ****ing light bulb.
BUT
If you started selling something that has a bit more detail to it, then people will always expect rubber to feel more rubbery and that red colour more red... And ofcourse the dimensions to be EXACTLY the way they fantasized about it.

It's all about the product and some products are used by ignorante prople and you will NEVER get ALL of them to be 100% happy. That's the reality of certain categories.
