If an account has superior high limits, like you are talking about, then it would only make sense to really hone the account, take time to make it as foolproof as you possibly can, keep it going for as long as you can and build yourself up.
If you sell 99p items in high numbers and then suddenly switch to $80 items, then it might appear that you are indeed trying to manipulate your own feedback and eBay don't take this lightly.
It just doesn't look THAT normal.
If you'd take it slow and start with 99 cent items, then move to slightly more expensive items, then perhaps go half and half with semi cheap stock mixed together with $80 item, after that go 3/4 $80 items and 1/4 cheaper items and after a while you can just stay selling $80 items and slowly raise the qty that you are selling.
If you sell 300 $0.99 items and two weeks later have listed 300 $80 items, I'm more than certain that you will either lose the high selling limits, get limited or suspended alltogether.
It's not organic way of selling and you'd raise too many flags.
Instead of ONE high limit account, why not spread teh risk and get 5-10 lower limit account, but have the safety of not losing your only cash cow?
