Seller Performance Status

Hey,

I've been expecting my seller performance status to go below standard today, but I received this message instead:

"A special protection has been applied to maintain your above-standard status in the United States program because your defect rate has been impacted by new defect types incurred prior to our seller standards announcement in March. This means that, although your current defect rate does not meet our above-standard requirements, you will be protected from below-standard consequences for this evaluation period."

I suspect, that this means I'm good for another month and will go below standard next month. Is this correct?

Also, is it better to keep selling and making sure I get by with no defects and hope this can save my account, or leave the account totally alone for the next month?

Thank you for your help.

What does it say on your seller dashboard?

They are giving you another month to get above standard again

So get the amount of transactions as high as you can to dilute the defect.

It's best to get cheaper items like $5 and sell like crazy and I would offer free shipping and Mail everything out same day or next day, just use standard shipping in your listings with 1 or 2 day handling time , that way u exceed there expectations

You need to get as many transactions as possible with no defects

It still says Your projected seller level is: Below Standard
For your next evaluation on Mar 20, 2015

But there is also a notification about how they protected my account from going below standard above that.

My problems were
2 Opened cases for items not as described
2 Return Requests: items not as described

Example, I'm selling a woman's bathrobe (sold them 10+ in December without any problems, then this month one buyer opened the case that the bathrobe was poor quality). The other one was my fault, I uploaded the wrong photo which didn't fit the description.

I refunded both buyers with no problems, I actually let the second buyer keep the item plus I gave them a full refund.

and

3 Requests: items not received (these where in December, when they were lost in the mail, or stuck somewhere), all the buyers received full refunds immediately.

1 Low detailed seller ratings for item as described

1 Neutral Feedback

and

1 Transaction I canceled

This comes to 6,12%

So, I need to sell as many items (low cost) as possible this month, without any defects. I just hope this will be enough for next month evaluation.

Thank you!

Re: Seller Performance Status

6 defects and 12% defect percentage???

Or is that 6.12% for Defect Percentage??

Sell low end items with free shipping and get that rate lowered.

Thanks, Rsot will do that.

You should sell as much as possible, not sit on the account.
