Easiest to just drop it and set up a new account. You can keep the email and pp info (as long as you change the 0/0 account info first.

It is ok to re-use info if you never had a listing or any problem. Just depends on the perspective of "re-using".

A new account came up with that nasty 0/0 limit and I let it ride for a few months and it never changed. So I just ditched the ebay account, got a new email address (5 minutes) and used the paypal acount I had planned to use for that 0/0 account. Since I was never able to even list an item, ebay had no idea what was in my mind for the pp account. SO actually it was never used in ebay's eyes but in mine I used it for the new, 5/500 account instead.

Highly wouldn't advise doing that, and just because it didn't get limited right away doesn't mean it wont cause problems down the line, would suck if it got limited 8 months down the line when it has high limits cause of doing that

You are going against forum recommendations

If it was attached to the EB account, or used the same name and address, it was linked, one day they'll decide to do a crackdown and throw a switch, and the new one will be toast.

Really, it takes all of 3 minutes to create a new PP, why take the risk?
