Newbie question?

I gather a merchant acct is the way to go. But when a crummy buyer ( Neg. fb ) or crummier seller "F's" with you, ebay responds, direct to paypal response. How does a merchant acct. give you any advantage if any in the penalties that arrise there after? Thanks for your response.

I have a merchant account and find it is a big advantage over a having paypal because if ebay cancels your account or sides with the customer then chances is paypal will to but if you have your own merchant account and you can prove you shipped your item to the customer then the merchant account will more then likely side with you on this transaction.

Thanks. Thats what I thought but from what I've been reading or ( been hinted about ) is their may be more benefits where ebay or PP may be more laxed in their shoot and ask nothing latter policy. The liability falls on the card company or whatever I guess.
