If I had 1000 in sells, 4 month old account. Would it be safe to list a 400 phone?.
 

(AND 20 transaction. feesback 6) I'm guessing no. But I just wanted to be sure. Thanks!!. What's a good time to start ramping up sales?. Or is it more dependent on feedback

No one can give you the correct answer, you have to make your own descion and face the consequences.

That being said generally you should be okay depending on the brand. I've listed my old iPhone on what now is my strongest stealth when it only had 5 sales on it. Was that smart no but I did it anyways lol.

The thing is in reality listing a phone isn't out of the norm and isn't shady to do. Everybody has phones, it's a VERY common thing to sell. Now it's different if you want to sell a bunch or have the plans of doing something like that. If it's just a one time thing, you should be okay. Again no one can know because they're a lot of factors that only YOU know like, what you sold, how quickly it was sold, age of account, age as seller etc etc

Stealth is about taking risks or you'll never know what you can really do. You can play it safe and wait ...it's up too.

You could be ok. Still very low on feedback. If you do list make sure you use lots of actual pictures and describe it very well. Stock photos and lazy descriptions in these type of situations are death nails.

I agree with the vogeltron. Make description as precise as possible, make lost of quality pictures, showing every inch of the phone, and you should be fine.

That is the stage I am coming up to on about £850 sales, just over the 3 month point and on 54 fb and I have been able to list few branded items, nothing too dramatic and only 1 of each at a time but they do tend to sell good when I do that and they haven't being taken down, which is all good of course.

I would think IMO though that the price item is a bit too high for your account, but you should be able to get away with it

I get away with selling high price items $300+ no more then 600 though on a fairly new account. Lets say 2-3 months old. What I do is post 5 pictures and have a unique description so it actually looks decent and sellable.

I was able to sell a$600 phone on a brand new 0 feedback account. I tagged all my pictures. I knew eBay or their bots were looking at my auction because it was still ghosted freshly listed and the view count went up to around 8. I sat by the phone waiting for them to call but they never did

It's about 4 months. 20 transaction 6 feedback. 1 bad. 1000 in sells.

If I listed a 400 phone and a 200 ipad would that be ok?. Thanks.

I would sell the phone first. wait until you receive the funds and then sell the ipad.

itz like walking across a field with your eyes close most time you will make it ok but sum times you WILL step in poop .. If you are willing to chance the account probably b ok . you get a problem buyer leaving neg feedback and reporting your listing as foo foo could end up bad fast .. So your question should be think I will get a good buyer? lol

If its going to be a new iphone with 6 feedback Id wait for more feedback.
Otherwise it should be fine.

I've sold Iphones with zero feedback on brand new accounts.Unless your selling something brand new or trying to sell multiple you usually wont have an issue. I wouldn't sell multiple high end electronics on the same account.

My accounts were 3 months old and I uploaded about £14000 worth of items at once and nothing happened(I uploaded it to different account 10 times), there is definitely a risk but none of my accounts have gotten suspended....... Yet.

That account is about where I am at with my account at the moment, but I am on 82 fb, I am listing slightly more expensive stuff now, already listed and sold occasional items around £70-100 earlier on in the account and got fb on, just past the 400 items sold mark for the 31 days of August, would be good to double that figure for September in items sold, but waiting on listing increase for anything like that to happen.

My other half just bought a used radio scanner for £30 and checked what it could sell for on eBay, and it was about £60-70, I would love to find a few if those scanners, they are popular, but getting them that cheap is not a common thing. Mobile phones worth few hundred pounds are not something I would list yet.

Update on my listing limit anyway, it has rest to its original point so that has removed any problem I was approaching for listing more items, on the sales limit side it has partially reset as well, didn't have a problem with that one though as I had some spare on the money limit side.

You gave advice tho, you said it's risky but do it if you have accounts to risk. I mean if he passes this ebay will build more trust as long as he dosnt list more than 1 high risk item per week/month.
