Buyer from a stealth account...
 

I saw something on here a while ago but cant seem to get it back right now.

How dangerous is it to buy something off a stealth account and send it to be real address?

Sometimes I use one of my stealth PayPal accounts to pay for goods I purchase in different online stores (not Ebay) and I always put my real shipping address, so in the list of PP addresses there is my stealth address as well as real one. And this PP account is ok since 2013.
I am not sure what will happen if you use your stealth Ebay account to buy on Ebay and send item to real address, but with PayPal it seems not to be a problem, at least for me it works just fine.

Every time I want to use stealth account to buy items, I will use modified address. For example, my address is xxxx ABC street, and I will add like xxxx ABC street APT A, or #221. My mail man is OK with that for now, and I do not have any problems with ebay, finger crossed....

Ive got my old suspended account which is only suspended from selling, so i can still buy freely.

Is it only Argos? It's about a 30 minute drive for me (in the wrong direction to anything).

Anyway what i do now after all they're replies is I'll buy the item, and then (the best way is to) contact the seller or have the seller contact you through your phone on stealth account which you can do by going to advanced search and then request User Information. You plug in the buyers user ID the item number and it'll send both of you an email with they're phone number. I do that way AFTER, I have formal and what I mean by formal is contact with the buyer through eBay messages. Sometimes they won't answer, but most of the time they will...

People on this forum say they can put they're real address in the body of a message and nothing happens but if you can avoid it, (which I do) just give them a buzz by requesting they're phone number or you asking them to call you at your stealth number.

When I buy an item, I';ll send the seller a message like.

"Thanks, for accepting my purchase. I just don't want my item sent here because I don't live there anymore but also don't want to add my new address on eBay as to not have to send documentation to PayPal in order to change my current address on both eBay and PayPal. Would you be ok in sending it to where I am currently staying?"

They usaully don't mind if the item isn't THAT expensive.
