Your account will be HIGHLY restricted, if not suspended, and good luck trying to get your defect rate back to normal levels after that.
What do you have to risk at this point? Your account? Call. Call before the 20th. Get them erased |

Thats where I got the 90 day from. Quote:
For example, maybe you have a persistent bad actor that buys 90 items from you over a 90 day period and files a negative each time (of course you would block them before this but bear with me). Those 90 DRs would be calculated as 90, but tallied as 1 over that period. You will see the total number in your dashboards, but not the unique-buyer number.

| james13v | 09-16-2015 05:09 PM | Re: 5 days to raise my DSR by 1.5% So then why is the 1 buyer that he has, affecting his account with the 7 transactions?
also, that seems to cover the NEGATIVE eDR and not the total percentage. I'm curious if that matters or not. |

He has 170 transactions so 1 or 2 transactions affect the account quite a bit, the 7 negatives are still counted as 1 transaction because its from a same buyer.
Not sure how and what OP is doing, as the thread started with 6.5% and couple of posts ago it was 7%.
EDIT: Also I think my quote was talking about NEGATIVE eDR and how it affect the defect % but it also lists other thing(everything) that affect the total eDR %, which our OP is battling against. |

search for ebay feedback exchange groups, worked for me a while ago.
Thanks!
Regards! |
| username1 | 09-17-2015 01:05 AM | Re: 5 days to raise my DSR by 1.5% I've called in and eGay are prepared to nothing at all! NOTHING! It's disgusting. I am nearly prepared to buy **** loads of his stuff and leave terrible feedback but......I won't!
I've decreased all my products to nearly no profit so I should sell loads in the next couple of days....
Hopefully this will take me back within the 2-5% region. |

You better take a solid look at what you are selling and your general business practices because otherwise you'll end up losing an account every 170-200 transactions and its just not viable long term plan.
Can you take a screenshot of your Seller Dashboard so that we can see where you are failing, perhaps advice you on what you could do to avoid certain problems in the future. |
| username1 | 09-17-2015 07:32 AM | Re: 5 days to raise my DSR by 1.5% It's ok. I'm getting rid of some old stock.
Can you advise...it says my projected updated percentage was on the 16th. I know they only change on the 20th but do they get updated daily?
I've iust lowered ALL the stock to near no margin just to get better figures.
Luckily it's working as just sold 30 items today although the percentage figure is still he same. |
| Shekibi | 09-17-2015 07:33 AM | Re: 5 days to raise my DSR by 1.5% It doesn't depend too much on your feedback score.
It depends in he amount if transactions within the past 12 months.
You can find out by doing to your seller dashboard.
It will also tell you how many defects you have, for example if you have 4 defects in 120 transactions, your defect rate will be 3.33%.
You divide the number of defects by total transactions :) |
| username1 | 09-17-2015 07:38 AM | Re: 5 days to raise my DSR by 1.5% Yes I understand this. But if I sell a loooooad of product right now for the next few days...will this help? |

What exactly did you say to ebay, and what did they say back?
Also, I hope you didn't just call once.
I've had to call 3-6 times to get a defect removed. |

| username1 | 09-17-2015 11:21 AM | Re: 5 days to raise my DSR by 1.5% Ok. Yeah I called 3 individual times over the space of 2 days. Right rhen...
The exact figures are currently... 7.6 defect rate over 250 transactions.
I've sold 30 products today at zero profit just to try and help this.
The last time is was updated was the 16th of August. |
| Dmshark25 | 09-17-2015 11:38 AM | Re: 5 days to raise my DSR by 1.5% X (defects) = 6.5%(DEF PER) * 250(transactions)
DEFECTS = 16 CURRENT DEFECTS
5.0% = 16 (defects) / X ( Total Transactions needed)
X (Transactions needed) = 16 / 5.0%
X = 320 Total transactions needed
320 - 250 = 70 more transactions
So for you to get from 6.5% defects back down to a standard 5.0% you will need 70 defect free transactions
Now while making those 70 transactions if u get another defect than you will need more transactions, but if you sell 70 with no defects your account will be standard again
Another factor is that I'm almost sure Sept 20 evaluation covers the prior year ending AUG 30
So the evaluation this month Sept 20 u will fall below standard, and than any transactions this month will count in OCT 20 evaluation, maybe someone else can confirm this I'm not positive |
| Dmshark25 | 09-17-2015 11:48 AM | Re: 5 days to raise my DSR by 1.5% Also while you have your items at a reduced price to make transactions you should go into site preferences and only allow 1 purchase per buyer for 10 days
Because you need transactions to count and if the same buyer purchases 10 items it counts only as 1 transaction
Since your giving the items away u need them to count |

| username1 | 09-17-2015 02:36 PM | Re: 5 days to raise my DSR by 1.5% So...not matter what I do within the next three days...I'm shagged??? |
| epimetheus039 | 09-17-2015 04:21 PM | Re: 5 days to raise my DSR by 1.5% You need a high sellable item at most likely a loss. It's not hard to make 70 sales if you have those items. The thing is, you just need to make a sale within those 3 days and make sure no one opens up a case/leaves neutral or negative from the previous transactions, which is also doable. Or, if you dont have an item in stock, I would suggest looking at someone who is already selling an item at a loss and just put up few of those listings and make a mark-up of 1cent and just drop ship through that guy for those 70 transactions. Also make sure you put a limit of 1 item per person, so you will have less hassle. |

Despite selling so many items these last few days....my percentage hasn't moved? It hasn't updated since the 16th??? |

As someone mentioned you just need 70 flawless transactions to get that below standard passed. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 05:21 PM. | |
