5 days to raise my DSR by 1.5%
 

Any ideas? If I don't, my seller rating will go to"below average". I'm currently at 6.5% so need to raise it back again...

Ideas anyone?

How many feedbacks are we talking about? 1.5% of 100 feedbacks total is a lot less than 1.5% of 10,000 feedbacks total.

So, basically, we are talking about 3 positive feedbacks? I would ask friends who do not live near me to buy my items and leave positive feedback 3 or 4 days later and I would pay them back for purchasing them.

I wouldn't recommend this as a long-term strategy, but I WOULD resort to it in this case. To potentially lose an account over 3 lousy feedbacks, I think it is worth taking the risk to avoid that.

Just remember that you need 3 unique buyers, not one person buying 3 items.

Could I use my other stealth accounts? EBay and paypal wouldn't have a clue would they?

It CAN be done, but never more than once, and it IS A RISK!

I would still recommend asking friends to help you. It is far safer.

It's a bit more than 3 feedback he needs.

He has 6.5% low DSRs on 170 feedback so that's 11 low DSR ratings.

He needs to get to 5% so it's 11*(100/5) = 220 feedback.

He needs and extra 50 feedback without picking up any more low DSRs.

I really don't want to get this account banned. I'm ready to risk anything to not get this banned (considering I may only have 5 days left of selling).

Do you know the reason why you picked up 11 low DSRs? Is it within your control to do something about?

If you continue to pick up low DSRs at the same rate then that is what is going to happen.

Even if you could get 50 positive feedbacks in 5 days, it would do more damage than good. A spike like that is CERTAIN to red flag your account. Sorry I miscalculated before. But I think the best thing to do now is to try tightening your operation in every way that you can to avoid negative feedbacks in the future. Because your account WILL go below standard, unfortunately. That does not always mean a suspension, but you are definitely on thin ice with eBay. Even ONE more negative feedback at this point could lead to a manual review of your account, which could lead to a suspension. So you have to try to avoid that at all costs. And start creating some stealth accounts right now! Don't wait for the axe to fall.

I have a few more stealths ready for operation. I know exactly how it's happened. I sold 7 items to one person individually (competitor). They left negative feedback even before they could have received the product!

Call EB and explain to them, that you were attacked by a competitor, who left unreasonable feedback. As 1 person leaving 7 negs is very suspicious, and if he sells the same things as you do, it guarantees, that negs will be removed.

Im selling high VeRO stuff of this aged account so don't wanna push my luck.

Try and get them removed. What's the worst that can happen, they take the account down? It's probably toast anyway.

50 Positives in 5 days? When people only leave feedback 25-50% of the time? If you were selling 200 items a week, maybe.

If you don't call, sell what you can while you can while the account stays up, but consider this account to be a 'dead man walking', if it doesn't happen you'll be the luckiest guy on here this week.

Sell some cheap items at zero profit . That should do the trick . Not a good idea to use other stealths to buy as you risking damaging other accounts.

If I have 170 feedback with DSR at 6.5 defect. Surely I don't need 50 to get myself back in 5 percent?

You need 50 to get your defect rate back to 5%. Probably a few more than that as well to get below 5% assuming Ebay round up the percentages.

This also assumes that all real customers buying the item leave a minimum of 3 stars for DSRs as well.

Actually just checked this, the defect rate % is calculated on transactions and not feedback received so it's going to be a lot more than 50.

How many transactions have you done?

OR look at the Seller Dashboard. What is the actual defect count?

If your trying to get your defect rate from 6.5% to 5% than you just need sales, you don't need 50 positive feedbacks

And I'm assuming the calculation was correct by saying 50, but whatever number it is it is defect free sales and not 50 positive feedbacks

Maybe I'm miss reading this but it seems you are concerned about your defect % but you are counting ur feedbacks

Defect percentage = number of defects / total transactions
