Ebay transaction cancelled, ship item or not?
 

Weird thing happened the other day.

I sold an item to a customer in Thailand and he then messaged me right after the auction listing had ended with the usual "Oh snap, I misclicked on the payment button and I want to cancel the transaction"

I wait till next morning to reply him and when I check the listing it says "transacton has been cancelled" but his payment shows on PP.

Question is, should I ship the item or naaah? He claims that he didn't cancel the transaction and I know for a fact that I didn't either. Anyway, it should take both sides to cancel the transaction and so on.

If I go by eBay, the transaction shows as cancelled and I can't even print shipping labels or do other things with the transaction.

If I go by what PP is telling me, I have received the funds from him and I should ship it.

Glitch? Scam? Random act of god? Me being a little noobish?

Advice is appreciated :)

If it has been cancelled, refund him and forget.

DONT SHIP.
He will just ask for a refund and he might not ship it back. You will be stuck paying for shipping and return shipping. Why bother. He doesnt want it.

Happened to me before.
Absolutely do NOT ship it out.
Refund the payment and move on.

Have to agree, if in doubt, don't ship.

Kind of a weird situation though.

it happend to me five month ago, i did not ship neither refund

Thats exatly how I sorted it in the end. I just know that its not worth the hassle if it goes tits up and its easier avoid a mistake if you can see it coming and ANY ****ery like this raises flags for me and I'll just refund and make it look like its my fault so that the customer feels all happy and gay about him/her self.
