This can apply to eBay, Paypal, even Amazon.

I just tried to withdraw funds from my paypal and it said "sorry were experiencing issues please try on our classic site". So I try and then it prompts with the security check for my phone.

I call and tell the rep like 5 times I have done NOTHING different. He then asks are you logging in from a different location? :doh:

I then tell him no I'm in the same city but he wants to know exactly where I am. I tell him I could be in my office, a starbucks, ANYWHERE it doesn't matter if I'm in the same city.

He actually told me that they track where we are via a GPS location system. I didn't even bother telling him that they track using IP's and if its in the same city then there is NO problem.

Still can't withdraw, im pissed and annoyed that the payment processor I have is that stupid.

Now your turn, the stupidest thing they have told you. This thread should have ALOT of replys haha.

Once, some paypal rep told me that I drive a Tesla S.

I told her "no way", I am loyal to burn carbon rich gasoline using a Toyota Prius. Those dumb paypal reps.

I had a paypal rep tell me my account got limited because i didn't do the instant bank verification and he found that suspicious.

He was asking why in the world i would rather wait 3 days for the deposits. I guess it was a good question, I asked him why the hell they give me 2 options then.

I told him i wasn't comfortable logging into my online banking with paypal to see my password. Still didn't get the account back.
