The Stupid Things Reps Say....
This can apply to eBay, Paypal, even Amazon.
I just tried to withdraw funds from my paypal and it said "sorry were experiencing issues please try on our classic site". So I try and then it prompts with the security check for my phone.
I call and tell the rep like 5 times I have done NOTHING different. He then asks are you logging in from a different location?
I then tell him no I'm in the same city but he wants to know exactly where I am. I tell him I could be in my office, a starbucks, ANYWHERE it doesn't matter if I'm in the same city. He actually told me that they track where we are via a GPS location system. I didn't even bother telling him that they track using IP's and if its in the same city then there is NO problem.
Still can't withdraw, im pissed and annoyed that the payment processor I have is that stupid.
