So what do you do when a buyer insists on getting feedback as soon as he pays and even before delivery?
I know he is a fool from messages prior to his purchase. There is not explaining to him how feedback works (he is member since mid 2000s and 200+ FBs). He seems to be the kind of guy that just doesn't "get it" when it comes to reading and understanding listings, etc.
He would be the guy to complain about his bag being half full when the chips are sold by weight, not volume. Yeah, we all gripe about that, but he would not UNDERSTAND.
Guess I can report him and check on FB he has left others.
Why does this matter to me? Because this is my one account out of 10 that is stuck on 30/3000. I can't seem to get it up and running whereas the others are also spotless but limits have been raised to very nice levels.
I want the account in question to stay spotless so that eventually the plug comes out and I get raises on it. |

If sellers still had the ability to leave negative feedback for scam artists I would understand your point. But since you HAVE TO say something good about your buyers, I don't get it. |

Feedback is meaningless as a buyer so if someone wants it, let them have it. Anything else just makes you look like a jerk, wastes time and not like you have anything else you can do but leave positive so just do it and keep your buyers happy. |

The buyer should leave feedback first. That says he is satisfied with item, service, communnications etc etc. THEN the seller should leave his positive which is his only option.
If the seller leaves a positive as soon as payment is received then he has no options when the buyer is stupid on returns, disagreements on the listing and all.
Seller has two options for leaving feedback....good feedback or no feedback. |

So then when he is totally unreasonable on any matter about the transaction I still have left him a positive. You don't kow the message he sent before buying. He is completely stupid and I should have blocked him earlier.
I left him the feedback only because he seems to stupid to run a scam and he has not left too many bad feedbacks. |

Do you know that YOU can not leave a negative message or feedback of any kind and only glowing and positive feedback? |

As a seller you cannot leave negative feedback for a buyer, and if you put negative comments in your positive seller feedback you risk being banned.
Honestly I don't even know why sellers have the option to leave custom feedback for buyers since you HAVE TO say something good about the buyer.. It would be much easier if eBay automatically left positive feedback for buyers upon the completion of a transaction.
If you don't think this buyer is worth the trouble he's causing you, then your only real option is to block him and carry on.. |
