Obviously your price would be cheaper...
If your competition got wind of you selling the same items as them, then how do you protect your own seller account against malicious competitors | The three key things I use to sell the same product at double the prices are as follows:
1. My eBay username. What's in a name? A lot. Someone who's eBay user id is "CustomerService" gives a lot different impression than "smite1294". Which one would YOU buy from?
2. Feedback: I keep my feedback high and my complaints low. I don't need to compete on price because my customers buy from me due to my great customer service, or at least the perception of it.
3. Keywords/title. Most people don't optimize their title NEARLY as much as they should. Don't waste time with words like "Rare" or "NICE!!!". No one is searching for these terms. ONLY use SEARCH keywords in your title.
Unless you're selling something very generic, you should be able to compete just fine without lowering your prices.
