Refunds Request
 

Hello, i would like some advise. Well the situation is kinda awkward. I sold an electronic item. The item location was set on UK, but i was on holidays in Lithuania and i sent an item from Lithuania. The delivery date was referred to 13-23th Nov. After 1 week of the sale Buyer requested me a refund, cuz the item was not described as it is, but the fact is that he doesn't even have the item yet, as it's posted. What shall i do? Accept the request? Because at 10th Nov he can open a case, but i want to solve it right for both of us. And after 10th if he opens a case will my money will be put on Hold in Paypal or what?

It looks like the customer is trying to get the item for free and his money back. If the customer filed a claim as "item not as described"....reply to his request by letting them know the item isn't there yet, so how can the customer know the item is "Not as Described"?

I'll be honest with you, seems like the customer knows how to get stuff for free, no matter what....the customer is going to find a way to get that item for free.

Did you ship the item with tracking? If you did just show ebay that the item has not even reached the customer yet, and yet they want a refund for not as described. This will raise a red flag for ebay in regards to the buyer. They will look at his account and see if they have a track record.

But he described that item location was UK and i shipped it from Lithuania, i have done a long shipping 3 to 4 weeks, and yes it has a tracking. I'm just most interest if he's capable to make my paypal money on hold ? and on ebay shall i click on Accept refund request or what?

Best that you chat to ebay, if you know your in the right then I wouldn't click on Accept refund request. You have tracking , thats the main thing

Dont click Accept refund request - what does tracking show? Delivered?

Tracking shows the item is on route in UK. I did explained him a situation and asked just to wait a bit longer, but he said it seems a scamm and he wants a refund immediately.
