Default 'ATTACK OF THE BUMS' (viewer discretion advised)

recently in order to move some dead stock and up sales a bit I thought too add a few best offer listings and a few bid listings instead of my usual BIN immediate payment required listings.

Well 90 percent of the bids and offers have ended with NON PAYING BUMS. what in the world is this. its like all the bums are coming on eby n window shopping and clicking on things they cant afford or something.

who has the time to go click on random items and not pay. whats the point?!?! other than wasting my time!

not sure if its just this time of year or what but HOT DAM im getn all the bums lately.
back to 100percent bin immediate payment required listings
ok rant over hehe

lmao I use to have the same problem but I now only do BIN listing.. if I do auction listing i monitor all bids and cancel/block bidders before they become a dead beat there's a link that allows you to cancel certain bids. if a bidders account is brand new or 0 feedback i cancel their bid and block them.. by monitoring the auctions this way i dont have dead beats ...but who has time to monitor all their auctions thats why I do bin listings or jack up the price and add best offer option.

when a buyer sends me a offer i send them a counter offer at the same price and tell them thats a great offer. if they buy it great if not the listing still stays so someone else can buy it.

I never understood why not ALL buyers have the ability to have buyers pay immediately. I mean, this problem would be totally solved. Why do we need to have a business account for that?

I did not know "require immediate payment" was only an option for business accounts.. that blows.

I've never really had a problem with buyers paying. At any given time I have roughly 50 orders awaiting payment, but I don't let it bother me. I just ship if they pay and disregard if they don't. But I also have all multi-quantity BIN's, so my listings don't go down.

Yes, but then why is the customer allowed to rip our heads off if their orders aren't shipped immediately overnight like we are AZ? ALL customers are so quick to complain about shipping not being instantaneous. I ship/drop off 7 days a week and still get emails b*itching about me not shipping fast enough. Luckily I have been able to get many of the feedbacks removed on all of my platforms.

But, when it comes to paying, they can take their sweet a$$ time...

Are these cheaper items in a category? I only run into this when I am selling bargain priced items in the category.

The Non-Paying bidders are in full force....

IMO - Many of them bid on multiple identical items and only pay lowest.

I wish ebay/paypal put in place the the funds go 'ON HOLD' once they hit that button or bid on an item.

If they bid $200 for an item and its up to $120, they will hold the $200 until the auction ends. Hell, it works that way when they want to rip us off.

I don't have all business accounts and I can select "require immediate payment" on all my accounts.
