Burst | 01-13-2009 05:18 PM | What would you do in this situation? I sold an item yesterday to a high bidder. I didnt receive a payment so the next day I checked the email for that seller account. I got a message from the high bidder saying they didnt think they were going to win and asked if they have to pay.
I simply replied that bidding is a legally binding contract and asked when I should expect payment.
Later that day I noticed my feedback went down one. It was that same bidder! I thought they just left it and decided not to pay. So I log in to reply to the feedback and notice I have a new payment from that same bidder.
Why on earth would you pay for the item, and immediately give a negative feedback for it before they even get it? They only said "this wasnt good". This isnt a $2 or $3 item either, theres some money involved.
So right now, Im asking people here what would they do in this situation? The accounts fully disposable, but Id like to keep it considering theres no warnings or anything on it. |
