IP solutions help please

Have a modem with built in router. Followed the steps to change IP , but IP won't change. Anyone else? Thinking I might have a Static IP? So the company will just change to dynamic IP if I ask?

What other IP solutions should I try to employ before buying an Ebay account? I realize I may have to buy one that's not in my state, so want to have a solid IP solution in place.

You could get an internet dongle from any mobile phone company nowadays and use its wifi, they not so expensive these days

What kind of Internet do you have? Generally you can ask your company to make it dynamic .
