How many cases opened before account gets banned?
 
I'm having a lot of issues this Christmas with items not turning up for some reason and it's causing a lot of cases to be opened against me.

I'm busy getting them all closed but I've had 31 cases opened in the last 30 days, should I be worried about my account?

It's been going about 4 years with over 7k feedback.

It really depends on what are cases, how many of them compared to your transaction number, % of total sales in terms of money etc. For your account it should be fine.

Unless you have thousands of sales each month 31 cases in 30 days is pretty high...
Id get worried myself. But that's just me...

That's over 1800 items sold in the last 31 days with value of around 15k

thats less than 2%, I get around that many every month. Wouldn't worry about it

That is approaching 2% not horrible but not great either.

Next year, this will not be an issue because we go back to counting unresolved cases only.

Yes you're correct. I've had problems with the Royal Mail loosing an entire mail sack full of post which had meant I've had to re do about 70 orders that have now arrived late.

I've nearly nearly got all the cases closed now and I'm nearly done with the Christmas rush so I expect things to return to normal soon.

How did I know royal fail would be involved. They really scare me every holidays!

All the UK needs now is bad weather and who knows what might happen.

I get worried even if I get 1 case a month! Granted I might sell a lot less than you(Around 350-500 items) but even 1 across all accounts annoys me. I did well from September to December, no cases opened but this week I've had my first one in ages and it was my own fault as well- Luckily the customer was more than happy to close the return with the "oh snap, my mistake" option and I gave him full refund.

31 cases, I would question the items that I'm selling or the delivery method. Just to make sure that you have one less thing to think about.
