i got some payments and marked them as shipped as is usual for me. but 2 of my new accounts are not showing funds availability on ebay. but on paypal it says funds will be available on jan 20th.
is this a glitch or something new?

The reason the pay for shipping later button is gone is because the seller is getting instant payments now.
@yabater - it's either a glitch or eBay hasn't calculated the date yet. Sometimes eBay waits until the order has been picked up by a courier before it estimates a date. Either way you aren't in any danger.

Is this for all new accts now? Including those that r a day old? No more holds on new accts?
I think you are just experiencing a glitch? I just sold a ton of stuff across several brand new accounts, they're all showing the estimated delivery date on eBay. Weird :/?
Yes there's definitely something going on, I have a new acct, sold, tried to print a label and that pay later button was clearly not there. What's worse is that money is in my pending column, so can't pay for the shipping. One of my accts I had to waste a vanilla card just to pay for the shipping.

If you try to print from eBay it will fail first and say you are unable to print but if you go back the pay later option will appear. Has to be done from eBay website.

Yes, I've been doing that exact thing, and that option wasn't there. Did u print any labels since maybe yesterday as the first sale of the account? I had some accounts a week old, sold some and print, it has a credit card decline email from PayPal. Now that pay later button never shows up on this one account. I got a couple more sales that will end really soon as first sales of the account. I will check again to see if it works. Same old process: print label, authorization didn't go thru, go back to my sold page, print label again and the pay later option should be there...hopefully.

You guys are still experiencing this issue? I created a couple of accounts, all but 1 of the accounts I opened show the funds availability on eBay's side. Must be a glitch with certain accounts.
