Listing/Selling Problems...Always lagging behind.

Hi,

Anything to improve my sell through rate? Any recommendations of listing free/reasonably priced ebay listing templates or whatever you call them? For example like listing including feedbacks or pictures of my other listings?

I see some competitors' (not neccesary big shops) listing full blown bells and whistles, very attractive but I look at those companies that provide them, veryyy expensive. Does these help?

The reason I am asking is I always find that when I and another seller put up the same product with same stock pictures, my sales always lag behind, they will sell 10 and I would sell 1, does not matter if the other seller is small account with 1000 feedbacks or 10k or 50k, few lines of plain text based listing or full blown listing, I always sell less...after a week or two I will have done maybe 10 and they will have done 4 5 6 times for than me....

Any reasons?

If you have access to mac os, I remember Garage Sale having some very attractive free templates, just have to pay the price of the software
