You could also download an ISO online. Once you have an ISO to work with you can either burn to a disk or create a bootable flash drive. Then, reformat your HDD and downgrade to windows 7.
make sure you pre find the windows 7 drivers for your computer save them on a usb flash drive or something, atleast the network drivers because most computer won't have drivers on windows 7
Save all your files to an external hard drive. Do a clean install of Windows 7 from a bootable USB or DVD. Install drivers for your system. Restore all your files if you have any to restore.
The biggest issue would be to find those Win7 Drivers cause if its a newer computer it will most likely not have those readily available and at best youll only find the Win8 drivers.

The only thing you have to worry about is the adapter driver for your wifi or lan to connect to the internet. Download slimdrivers to do a scan to find all necessary drivers for your system. Problem solved.
