Default Taking over a friends account...

I have a friend who's been selling her kids gently used clothes on her eBay account for a few years. She sells on a limited basis. Her feedback is about 130 positive.

If I were to offer to take over her account, what would be HER limitations? She couldn't have an eBay account in her name? She couldn't have a paypal account in her name? Anything else? I just want to make sure I cover all bases before I bring it up to her.

Thanks!

Super bad idea and really no need at all. A few ideas though, how are you going to handle the 1099-K? What happens of you guys no longer remain friends down the road?

Just open more accounts on your own.

As for the name thing, You can have several accounts in your own name. All of my major accounts are in mine and then turned into business accounts. Saves a ton of hassles.

Limitations are more yours.

Friendships often fail after business deals.

Preferable to have total control and not be under obligation to another.
