can be an issue of burning good info because an account runs into problems. It is like feeding all your good sruff and having nothing in reserve. Can be counterproductive.
For sure you start off slowly, very slowly. For me, I would look at what my feedback was and then slowly increase. Your aim should be to be selling on a good account by the end of US summer.
the business name could work. But you do not need to add the trimmings of EIN etc.

PO box addresses are not a great option any more along with strip malls and apartment buildings. You will run into many more 0-0 selling limits with them NOW. A year ago was a different story.

So, I recommend an empty house and ADDING the PO box address for your return address. It saves wasting time with the low quality addresses for account creation.

A goal early on is to look like an ebay/pp newbie just getting their feet wet with online selling... if you come out of the gates as a business chances are higher they'll question & demand more information from you, not to mention you might screw up and burn all that legit information-- the first 6 months are the most volatile for an account.

I personally like to get my accounts converted to business with EIN shortly after the 1st sale- 90 day mark (the first milestone for a new account), BEFORE pp requests.... personal preference, never had a problem for the 3 accounts I've done it on so far-- but primarily what I sell is medium risk at worst so I've never been very scared of getting hassled at the 8-12k mark yankee was talking about.

Yup your 90 day plan is the way to go (I think you'll be fine selling a smartphone/tablet HERE and THERE first 90 days, very sparingly). After 90 days you're planning too go to fast IMO, you should still play it slowish (1-2k sales increase monthly) for the next 90 days until you pass 6 months, THEN you can start looking to go for 3-4k monthly increases.

The conservative numbers I've read to increase sales by over the 6 month period are: ($500 + $500 + $500 + $1k + $2k + $3k)

And finally a tip for starting address, go to trula and look for a nice house that's for sell :)

Question related to this tread, hopefully It can be answer here and I have understood what you guys are talking about.

When creating a Business Account I can start with using different name, new address, new ip address, new phone number, but as soon as I upgrade to a business account that is when I enter my legit business information and EIN, is that correct? What about all the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ details, will those be linked to the new business account or at that point all that matters is my business name to match my EIN?
