IP problem showing one of my computers in a different country
Hey everyone,
I need some help big time. I have been changing my ip for months on my personal macbook pro using the router settings and every time I would finish logging in and out of my stealth accounts on a completely separate laptop pc, I would go back to my regular MAC address that is on written on the bottom of my router and my IP would go back to normal and I would continue to be able to use my personal ebay account on my personal macbook.
This morning, I tried changing my ip and for some reason my macbook froze. I did a hard reset and when everything loaded up, it threw my ip into Sweden. Every site I go on says I'm in Sweden. So I thought maybe I could change the user account, but apparently it's on every user account. My laptop pc that I use for stealth doesn't have this problem and shows the regular types of ip's that would change to and correctly show that I'm in the United States.
I can't find any info on how to revert my entire computer back to making it think that I'm in the US and not in Sweden. Every other device in my house works normally and shows a completely different ip. So my macbook shows an ip in Sweden, and my other devices show the same USA ip as it should be. How can I have 2 different IP's showing up at the same time? I'm not using any VPN or masking it. In fact when I attempt to reboot my router and modem and check for the ip, the correct USA ip shows up, but then switches over to a Swedish one. I'm having such a headache and I'd love to resolve this.
Any help is appreciated!!
