Reps & Limit Increases
 

So I called today to get a limit increase. I haven't had to do this in a LONG time.

The women I spoke with was nice and all but she asked ALOT of questions. She asked all the typical questions but she also asked..

1) Why I sell what I sell
2) How and when do I get them during the month
3) Who are my suppliers (she got really noisy with this)
4) My profit margins on a particular brand

She asked a couple more I can't remember...

I'm sure it was harmless and she was just curious but it made me think how easy it would be if I told her how I actually got my stuff she could just turn around and do the same thing, whats stopping her? I'm stealth so of course I know the drill and I know she doesn't have to know my EXACT supplier, unless they want to mc999 but that's different.

If I was a newer seller and hadn't called in before for a limit increase, the way she spoke was very pushy so I'm sure a normal seller would tell her thinking nothing of it.

Seems like such a simple way to find out sellers suppliers.

Maybe they are just trying to ask questions you can't answer so they can shut your account down!
