eBay wants sellers to have a low percentage of "defective" transactions, since transactions that don't go well for buyers are likely to hurt eBay (and thus eBay sellers) over the long run.
eBay considers a transaction to be defective whenever any one or several of the following things apply to it:
A DSR score of 1, 2, or 3 under "Item as described"
A DSR score of 1 under "Shipping time"
The buyer leaves negative or neutral feedback about the transaction The buyer requests to return an item while indicating that it was not as described in the listing |
