eBay judged in buyer's favor for non paid item
 

I lately have some new registered buyer with 0 or 1 feedback purchased my item. They never paid and then after the unpaid case closed, they no longer registered with eBay.

But eBay even allow them to open the case said the item never received. They said they have contacted me a lot of times, but of course they never.

I said you never paid for item how can you expect I ship the item.

Yesterday they ask eBay to review the case, and eBay judged in buyer's favor and issued refund (for item they never paid).

The only way to appeal is calling eBay and their decision is just made at 9:56pm which when I see it eBay call center is close.

Any suggestions? Please help. I tried to avoid calling if possible. But I can not leave messenger once case is close.

they tried to charge my credit card but the card is expired so they ask me to pay them.

How exactly can paypal issue a refund if no original payment has ever taken place?:confused:

That doesnt make sense, someone messed up, im sure this will be resolved with a short call, once they find no paypal transaction for this transaction than they will realize that no original payment was made

In circumstances like this, it never hurts to call. They will not try to run you through public database of this. Calling will make your life a lot easier and will be done within a few minutes.

Wow. That is new! Never heard of a situation like this! Just another scenario that shows how poorly run eBay is.

I can't see them actually taking money when you never received it, that's a PayPal issue and that **** doesn't fly with them. An item I sold one time that was about $200 got lost in the mail, they refund the buyer and let me keep the money. I would talk to PayPal

Make sure you know your acct info well and give a call - sort it out

Call ebay, not paypal, or call both is that makes you feel better. This is one of those times that a call needs to be made. They are actually not that bad.

Its only when you call to get your selling limits raised is when people say not to call.

Some EB monkey screwed it again. Call in until there will be human on the line, and he should be able to fix this quickly.
