Default Question about listing

Hey guys, I am trying to build my feedback, I have a question.

Is there a way to set up the BIN so that when someone purchases your item, it relists automatically as 1 item?

I do not want to put in the quantity I have because then buyers may just buy multiple pieces of one item, which is not what I need, I need to have multiple single item transactions.

I hope I explained it well.
Thanks

There isn't any way to do this automatically. You would just have to increase the quantity on the listing by 1 every time you get a sale.

Even when trying to build feedback, what's wrong with people buying multiple? I don't get why you would want to avoid the orders with the most profit, unless you have matching serial #'s or something else shady like that..

i think the OP wants people to think that he only has 1 left so they will buy it without knowing he has more.

Well I'd say there's no doubt about that, I just don't understand why. Profits are boosted by combining shipments...

In my world profits are prioritized way higher than feedback.

You can't do it automatically but sometimes I do this myself. Because I sell lots of clothing I like to keep qty small on some items so I can double check that everything looks good and I don't sell a size I don't have. Plus I sell some of the same items on Amazon or have a bulk customer come physically buy some stuff every once in a while.

Not sure why you would want it automatically relisted but I do understand why someone might have 10 of something and only have 1 available at a time.

Ohh yea the last reason is I have had people buy a bunch in bulk to resell then when they can't get enough money for them they open a case up a nonsense case against me or something like that so they can send it back. So i prefer to have actual customers buy from me rather than resellers I don't know.

Goal to build feedback, so the idea is more transactions the better.

Yes. You can list multiple at once, but in setting you can set buyer limits to 1 per customer every 10 days.... It will not let them checkout with more then one no matter how many it shows... I actually do this on my main account to fend of scammers. I have done the numbers and my repeat customer loyalty on ebay is very low. So I don't care, plus if after 10 days they want to buy more on ebay they can. Or they can buy as many as they want through my website which comes with a coupon in the package. No having to worry about all the ebay/pp nonsense.

Is editing the listing of an item and adding +1 quantity after each sale is a smart move?
I read somewhere that eBay doesn't like it.
