Hi ! i sold a HMT watch on 3rd march in eBay.uk. Buyer opend a case that watch as defect and wants to return it for full refund also wants me to pay the return fees.

if buyer didn't post the item ?? and there is no item on the box as it happen with me once .

I had a 14 days return policy do it even affect anything ??

How will i have to pay return fee also will it affect my defect rate ??

14 day return policy doesnt matter if they opened a case for item not as described.

I believe return costs are debited to your eBay Invoice

If the buyer sends you back an empty box you can appeal the case to eBay

You don't have to pay return fees by the way - that's not your role.

For 49 quid...I am not sure if you want to fight this heavily.

If the buyer sends you back an empty box, you need to make sure to take photos of weight, dimensions, etc....get the postal worker to open it for you

Not much money hahahaha, sorry but I fight for every dollar, euro, or pound that I get. And you might forget that the buyer is from another country so the exchange will be different, most likely more than you would think.

If you really do not want the return, you can try offering a partial refund so the buyer can get the defect fixed. (If it's cost effective)

Once a case is opened like that, there's nothing you can do to stop the return if that's what the buyer wants.
