If they are non-defective returns they go back to active for sale. If they are defective you will have to either create a removal order and specify the address to ship them to or create a removal order to have them destroyed. It's 50 cents to have an item shipped back and I believe 35 cents to have it destroyed. If you do nothing, you will be charged storage fees. You can create removal orders yourself on most items, but you may have to contact Amazon for others.

By the way, because FBA allows and resales non-defective return, I have been successful in having AZ remove any feedback that refers to something looking used.
