Default Dealing with returns

Hi

My current system of returning items is soon to be unavailable.

I have looked into mail forwarding but the postage charges are a bit too high.

Has anyone had any problems when using real (selling suspended) address as a return solution?

I have made some return labels to send in emails if a buyer loses the one ive stick one in the parcel.
I was thinking of slightly changing the address - but i would have to keep the house number & postcode - i will run a test to see if that change works by sending myself a letter.

Any advise would be most welcome as I am fretting quite a bit about this.

Thank You

If that suspended address shows up in any PP or EB accounts, of course it is a link they will find during a manual review. If you are just printing the return labels on your own with no mention inside EB or PP, then they would never see it unless a customer sends a you message about it or leaves a note within EB and PP.

I will say that you rather use a different address like your friend's house or someone you know can help you collect the return in another address, or better look for a foreclosed building close by if you can have the mail delivered there and then pick it up, that works for me.

hi
a friend house is the option that has recently gone.

Most of my buyers return via recorded signed for delivery so someone would need to sign for it.

thanks

Go get a PO BOX or UPS address... Problem solves.

Pointless fretting.

Why is there a problem with paying for services?

A stealth account needs access to a return address MORE than a regular account. Why short change yourself by not doing that?

And yes, I've had buyers message me in ebay that the address differs & wanted to know why.... It's not worth the risk given that you have mentioned your accounts are going really well.
Get an address you can access. Make more sales & that pays the fees.
Win win

I am a very casual seller. 10 items per month. It is not worth my while to invest in po box, and ups store is 40 min away. I have had no returns yet, but plan on placing labels inside with my items, with an accessible address..and one never used before..see how it goes.
