Tell them to send it back to paypal, call them everyday until they send it back to the paypal account.

Thats not true at all. In fact, most banks would send it back to paypal as opposed to keeping it. What bank was this, so we know who to avoid?

just called in they wont even let me talk to the lady that closed my account only do a 3rd party call were i tell the lady on the phone my side then she calls the risk dept then returns a few seconds later saying she talked to the lady that closed my account and she advised she already informed me that that this was not my money and i can not have it ..
I even had cash deposited in as a rent payment to me every month they are holding that money as well . just like i am a crook . i asked her you say i can not get my money out and there is no bank in cali for anyone to go in so yall are jsut going to keep my money , she said no i dont think we just keep the money it would seem like it would have to be returned to someone . i m supposed to call back tomorrow . the lady said she was going to try and contact someone else but the lady that closed my account . i agreed that every message i got from her was like she was mad at me and i dont like being called a crook . if they are worried about me stealing someones money then return it to them and i will invoice them direct .. jsut kills me everyone else gets a check in 10days i instead get sorry buddy 21 days later

From talking to bankers this year this seems lots of banks are cracking down on personal bank accounts. Have you looked or asked about a business bank account.

Not another one of these threads! :(

Made a post couple weeks ago about these becoming more frequent.

Here we go again with another one :(

Keep trying and keep calling or doing whatever you have to do to get your money back. Goodluck. These threads make me worried.

You have to think like a business person who has a business account.

The bank will know that lots of deposits are going to be in other names so business accounts are less looked at when it comes to that.

The bankers I have talked with told me that. But you will need to get more paper work to open a business account and inquire more expenses but in the long run its worth it.

And while I am at it, open up more types of accounts with that bank, like an investment account, get a business credit card with them or other banking services (small loan). And use the business debit card more often than the personal debit card.

Did you speak to the bank manager? Maybe make amends - think of viable solution

Hurry up and open a business name or DBA under the name the funds were coming from. Show the bank your business name /license that matches the name.

That would give them something to think about

Yep this ^^

Wait until you know your ebay is solid, get a business account and you can use any name you want but make sure the ebay/paypal matches the same name after you upgrade it to a business seller and paypal aacount

i called the lady back today she said she hasnt heard for the risk dept but since the deposits was not in my name then she didnt know what will happen to the funds .. the only way they can return the money to the senders is if there is a full amount like 800 in and they return 800 but all of my funds was moved to main account and none of the sub accounts have more than 10 in it so they cant just reverse the payment .. this is really starting to sux :(

Got a call back today lady said she was going to reverse the payment that was connected to main account for 600 i had a balance of 614. and they are sending back a payment made for 600 .. NOW i look to see what account pp was linked to this account and lo and behold the bank has been removed from pp because they tried to deposit and was rejected by the bank . will the bank still be able send money back to the paypal account without the pp having the bank linked ? Hope that makes sense . when i go to pp it just says link a bank and has nothing listed . pp is still working but has the request for tx info number so just matter time before it locks up . if there is anyone still reading this please any insite would be great

I doubt anyone here has been in your situation. I think you have a 50/50 chance. The money might go back into your paypal, or paypal might reject it and send it back to the bank who refuses to deal with you.

Heck, there's even a slim chance Paypal will reattach the bank account when they see money being sent from the formerly attached bank account. But I wouldn't get your hopes up..

:/
