| | | Retailer77 | 05-11-2016 07:39 AM | Paypal dispute: "Did not authorize this purchase" I got an email from paypal today stating supposedly "buyer did not authorize this purchase" for $181....yea ok...suuuuuuure.
I hate these type of buyers/scammers |

| GreenBean | 05-11-2016 07:44 AM | Re: Paypal dispute: "Did not authorize this purchase" Not always.
What did you do as a seller in terms of delivery of this item.
Just a hint for next time. This is a payapl issue so use that forum next time...

| phaz0rz | 05-11-2016 07:45 AM | Re: Paypal dispute: "Did not authorize this purchase" Yes, unfortunately. But from what I've noticed (depending on the circumstances) Paypal will cover the loss a lot of the time, so money isn't deducted from your account. Now if Paypal thinks you've scammed someone, that's another story and you'll probably taking the $180 loss in that case.
But since this is an "unauthorized payment" I think you have a good chance of Paypal covering the chargeback for you. It will take several weeks for the chargeback to be fully resolved though.. |

Also, is there anyway to avoid this in the future?
I would assume no since virtually anyone can do a chargeback |

You seem to be getting an awful lot of hassles on the accounts you have just started up, disproportionately so it would seem.
Low DSRs.....chargebacks.......cases being opened....
 | I'm going to side with this statement, you have an awful lot of problems on your accounts in such a short space of time, your luck seems real bad or your the one causing mischief. Im starting to think the latter. |

My DSR's are fine though. |

My DSR's are fine though. | Give them up and move to another product. Doesn't make you look good on the forums with so many issues, but more so, your metrics should be a nightmare at this point with the way things have been going - beyond economical repair I would assume. |

I am still top rated for all my metrics, not sure what you mean? |
| newjerseymax | 05-11-2016 09:36 AM | Re: Paypal dispute: "Did not authorize this purchase" I don't recall ever losing one of those cases if:
I shipped to original address listed on sale and showed proper delivery via shipping company. |

I asked twice for a reply on what the OP had done regarding delivery.
He might answer you.
 |

Put a user on ignore if you dislike their comments.
Threads need not be taken off topic all the time.
You are having issues that should not be happening.
When you post it helps more if you add some details of what you have done to sort the issue.
I know selling is a pain. But when we get our act together, we can manage.
I would like for you to have the same outcome.
:peace: |
