so how long is this refund going to be pending for? the negative feedback is in my mind now. she for sure withdrew the funds so thats why she doesn't have them accessible and it is probably an e-check now gonna take 5-7 days for the refund :@

i checked, i have to wait 9 days to get the refund. clearly this seller is a new seller and doesn't know to keep the balance until the item has atleast been shipped.

This (Pending) happens when she doesnt have the money in paypal and thhen paypal has to request it echeque style to refund you.

Or it happens when you pay paypal with a CARD payment, and the funds have not cleared completely from your bank to paypal yet (even though already approved), so paypal wait for it to clear and then only process the refund.

The reason should be given on the transaction details page of your paypal payment to her.

it was funded with paypal balance so its definitely her paypal... I'm pretty unhappy with how she dealt with the refund situation. why withdraw the funds without shipping the item? makes no sense to me.

Sellers do weird things.

Buyers do weird things.

Such is life using ebay/paypal.

Elsewhere on here, I have said I prefer to not risk buying items that cause issues.

Have made that a rule of thumb & thus avoid dopey sellers.

This is not your fault or their fault. This is happening to others on here, and not just you. I would say PayPal has a glitch (which happens far more than what it should) or PayPal is implementing a new security measure that will suck serious elephant balls.

Regardless, as a stealther, it would not be good to wreck their feedback. Karma goes around bud, and one day you may need a little grace and mercy given to you.
