Surprising, it's possible to attach another paypal to an ebay account
 

Hi,

As I was explaining in another thread (http://www.aspkin.com/forums/paypal-...pshipping.html) Paypal closed my account because I was doing dropshipping from amazon to ebay, which they don't like...

So I turned to ebay and told them my PP account was closed,and asked them what I could do. And surprisingly they told me I just have to attach another paypal account to my ebay account !

I read many times (here and also on other forums) that if your PP account was banned you have to create another paypal AND another ebay to be safe, but it seems okay to use the same ebay with another paypal.

So, that's great.

:doh: did you ask for them to send that to you in writing? That CS Rep is a failure on the advice front.

You are NOT safe creating another pp for the old eb...you might last a while but it is not risk-free.

Not a good longterm solution...as stated many times...

No one said it wasn't easy adding another PayPal....that new PayPal will not last too long.

It is possible to do that. The PayPal would get limited after a few weeks / months though

Tip: Dont judge your stealth tactics too quickly. Just because it works today, doesn't mean it will last tomorrow.

Absolutly they send it to me by email.

So guys you are saying I shouldnt follow the advice ebay gave me ?? weird....

Hmm that is something if they wrote that to you.

Still not accepted advice around here - for longterm safety, it's not a great option.

For every eBay I have I use 2 Paypals for it because down the line, I have backup paypal that already started running...

New everything is always best practice. Learned a while back that cutting corners to save a few pennies can lose you more than a few dollars.

It feels good when its working in the beginning and sales roll in.

It hurts most when you build this account up and it becomes your main source of income and all of a sudden you get an email with MC999 suspension from ebay.

Then you post on Aspkin 'EMERGENCY!'

Then people ask what you did, and you end up finding out, JUST because you cut this small corner, you lost it all!

Of course the decision is yours to make. In the end, it will be only you to face the consequences. Not the people helping here.

Mate I don't see what you're talking about concerning cutting corners, my paypal account has been limited because they don't approve dropshipping. They suck.

Now, when next time they will ask me to provide suppliers bills I will send them f*ke ones so they won't know I'm dropshipping from amazon.

@Rsot, yes that's probably what's I'm going to do, starting again, steakth this time. But I'm really pissed to let my ebay account which has hundreds good feedbacks. And it is even not blocked by ebay !! :(

Yes I hear that - quite a few of us have been there. You could salvage the eb account properly by using other approved payment modes like Paymate, Propay, Skrill (depending on if you are on US eb or other platforms). Which platform is your eb on?

In this situation where u have no choice I'd create another PayPal and keep selling until u can't

Just be prepared and get more accounts going

What about in cases where an account has been inactive for a while... and no paypal is on file anymore? Its asking me to add a new PayPal to get started. Lots of sales in the past.... just no longer has a paypal attached for some reason. Now seems like a safe time to add a new paypal and keep selling.
