Buyer Claims Item Not Received...Shipped To Forwarder

Buyer won an auction...newly registered account, 0 feedback. I was already hesitant because I HATE selling to 0 feedback or newly registered. To be a double whammy sucks that much more. I sent the items out anyway, as I always do. It was delivered yesterday morning, and this piece of sh*t opens a case this morning saying it was not delivered "to his work" even though tracking says it was delivered.

I look up his address and come to find out it is actually a damn forwarder. Now, I have shipped things to people before that used forwarders...Australia, Ireland and UK. I assume this guy is from the middle east, since his name suggests so. Anyhow, after looking the address up, the first thing that pops up is badbuyerlist, and a whole slew of crap comes up. Different names, different "suite numbers". All for the same thing...person orders something, opens case and claims they didnt receive. Bull. Sh*t.

I replied to the guys message with a lengthy response. Just wondering what I can do now....I printed shipping directly from ebay. It went to the address he provided. It shows delivered. Is this just going to go in his favor now? Can I call ebay and have them close the case or what?

If this guy does this repeatedly then writing a lengthy email is waste of your time.
If you shipped it to the confirmed paypal shipping address as provided to you then you should have a case and a good chance to have this case closed in your favor. Calling ebay will accomplish nothing and they will not close a case just because you called - so again dont waste your time.
At this point all you can do is wait and hope for the best.

Upload tracking

If it shows as delivered you will win.

if tracking says delivered, you're fine. This is now ebays problem, not yours.

now if tracking showed "delivery status not updated" well, that would be a different story

Called ebay just because. Was told that since item shows delivered, I dont have to worry. We will see how that goes. They told me that I can escalate the case myself (assuming the buyer doesnt first) next week and I will most likely win. But we know how ebay is. If I lose, I get a case without seller resolution against me.

I would call the forwarder to... Anything to make the buyers life difficult!

You can usually tell what country they are from by the country code or similar abreviation hidden in the second line of the address. They sometimes claim its a unit #, or just admit its a refrence number.
