Ebay message from global shipping program

I never have gotten this message before when shipping through the ebay gsp...heres the message:

We are writing to inform you that your GSP order is currently under review for potential prohibited items and may experience a delay to your buyer by 3-5 business days.

The item was a phone.

You sure have a lot of issues, how does all this happen to one account? You must sell thousands of items to have so many different headaches? If not thats a really high ratio

I have had that happen before. It was a military life preserver, the transaction was normal enough, when i checked on it later it turned out that they would not allow it to delivered due to ITAR and had refunded the buyer and i got paid. The strange thing is that eBay didn't stop the listing as not being able to be shipped out of the US, and allowed the item to continue to be listed globally.:bolt:

So ebay is going to open your package and make sure you are not shipping anything prohibited.

Same as customs will.

Whats the big deal?

I would think thats why too... Just to check if it can be shipped to the destination.

Also think the relationship between ebay and the couriers (in relation to GSP) are not as ironed out as of yet. The programme is still in its infancy, not adopted by everyone, and most of all, a lot of negative reviews (albeit my experiences have been fine with it). Hence why ebay thought they would just refund buyer and eat the loss - which they should.
