Groupon is a marketing tool for local business. Pretty much it is a coupon for discounted service or product to be redeemed in person.
Some options would be a private website and a coupon code. Savings must be significant to attract buyers. Groupon takes a HUGE %
Gyms, restaurants have tremendous success for the repeat future business. Groupon just gets them in the door.

Groupon is more than just a coupon site. It's more like a retail site if you are looking at the "goods" section.
I am unsure how much percentage they take, but I have tried registering with them, and they did not approve my application, They also take forever to reply. I am talking 3-6 months........... 2nd application have had no responses at all.

I wouldn't bother replying to someone who i'd already rejected once.

To a degree, seems rather "snobby" about the type of approved sellers. |

Crossfit can easily be $249.00 a month. Introductory price on groupon might be $99 so they collect $48-50 and hopefully next month $249 and every month after that.

Check it. My post a few days ago was obviously wrong, because apparently Groupon is now an ecommerce platform too.
I found a guy who thinks Groupon is dreadful compared to LivingSocial, in terms of fees and customer service. My terrible Groupon experience (and great LivingSocial deal) - Apr. 26, 2011
This got me curious so I went on over to LivingSocial for the first time. Turns out LivingSocial is now an ecommerce platform also, just like Groupon! They even have "awesome" deals on (totally counterfeit) Apple Earpods!! https://www.livingsocial.com/product...remote-and-mic | The Following User Says Thank You to phaz0rz For This Useful Post: | |

39% of ALL money spent online last holiday season went to Amazon. Amazon Is Capturing Bigger Slice of U.S. Online Holiday Spending - Bloomberg
It's an outlet for sure, but they can't touch AZ. Might be a great alternative platform for someone kicked off AZ for selling phake Apple though, apparently. :P

I think an actual "great alternative" for someone kicked off AZ would be "ghosty" accounts. That way you're still exposed to the same traffic.
